Introduction

Perplexity to Notion is a Chrome extension that allows you to export your Perplexity AI conversations directly into your Notion workspace. You can save a single conversation instantly from the popup, or batch export all your chats from the options page, with advanced customization, Notion database selection, and export history management.

Installation

1. Download & Install

   • Go to the Chrome Web Store and search for "Perplexity to Notion".

   • Click Add to Chrome and follow the prompts to install the extension.

2. Pin the Extension for Quick Access

   • Click the Extensions icon (puzzle piece) in your Chrome toolbar.
   • Find "Perplexity to Notion" in the list and click the pin icon to keep it visible on your toolbar.

   

Quick Start: Popup Page

• Notion Authorization

  When you open the popup for the first time, you need to connect your Notion account:

  • Click Connect to Notion and follow the authorization flow.
  • Once connected, select your target Notion database from the dropdown list.
  • You can re-authorize or refresh the database list at any time.

  

• Export Current Conversation

  When you are on a Perplexity chat page, click the extension icon to open the popup.

  • Click Save to Notion to instantly export the current conversation to your selected Notion database.
  • You’ll see a status indicator for export progress and any issues.

  

• Go to Batch Export

  • Click Go Bulk Export or Open Batch Export to jump to the options page for advanced, multi-conversation export.

• Export Settings Preview

  • In the popup, you can view and edit the export subdirectory (save path).
  • See a live preview of the generated filename for the current conversation.

• Accessing Batch Export
  • Open the options page via the popup or Chrome extension settings.
• Notion Authorization & Database Selection
  • Connect your Notion account and select the target database for exports.
  • You can refresh the database list or re-authorize at any time.
• Conversation List & Selection
  • View all your Perplexity conversations, with support for pagination and refresh.
  • Select individual conversations, or use Select All for bulk actions.
  • Already exported conversations are clearly marked.
• Batch Export Actions
  • Save Selected to Notion: Export only the conversations you’ve checked.
  • Save All to Notion: Export all conversations in your history (subject to plan limits).
  • Progress bar and real-time status are shown during export.
  • Cancel export at any time.
• Export Limits
  • Free users have a limited number of batch exports; subscribe for unlimited exports.
