Export to Obsidian

After installing the extension, follow these steps to export your ChatGPT conversations to Obsidian:

1. Open your ChatGPT chat page.

2. Click the Export Button

   1. Locate the ‘Export to Obsidian’ icon on the right panel of the page.

      

   2. Or click the Export button on the browser toolbar, as shown below:

      

3. Click the icon.

4. Optionally, modify the filename for the markdown file.

5. Click the “Save” button. This action will download the ChatGPT conversation as a markdown file for the current chat.

6. Move the markdown file to your Obsidian note folder.

7. You can now view the ChatGPT chat log in your Obsidian workspace.
