Overview

Midjourney to Obsidian is a powerful Chrome extension that helps you automatically download and organize all your Midjourney creations as Markdown files for Obsidian. This guide will walk you through the setup and usage process.

Prerequisites

1. A Midjourney account
2. Obsidian installed on your computer
3. Chrome browser

Installation

1. Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store
2. Open the extension popup or go to the options page

Initial Setup

1. Connect to Midjourney

• Open Midjourney Imagine page
• Log in to your Midjourney account
• The extension will automatically detect your Midjourney user ID

2. Setup Obsidian Vault (Recommended)

For the best experience, we recommend downloading our pre-configured Obsidian template:

1. Download the Template: Get the 0-My Midjourney Home (Obsidian base template)
2. Setup in Obsidian:
   • Extract the template to your Obsidian vault directory
   • This will automatically create the proper folder structure and base data for organizing your Midjourney creations
   • Alternatively, you can create your own vault structure manually

3. Configure Download Directory

1. In the extension options, set your download directory name (default: midjourneyObsidian)
